These Reiki Healing Service Terms (“Reiki Terms”) apply to Reiki healing services provided by Infinite Earth Keeper Healing.
They should be read together with our:
- Terms and Conditions;

- Disclaimer;
- Refund & Returns Policy; and
- Shipping & Delivery Policy, where applicable.

By booking or participating in a Reiki session with Infinite Earth Keeper Healing, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read and understand these Reiki Terms.
2. Nature of Reiki Services
Reiki is provided by Infinite Earth Keeper Healing as a complementary and holistic wellness practice.
Reiki sessions may be intended to support relaxation, personal wellbeing, reflection and a sense of balance.
Reiki is not presented as a medical treatment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, illness or medical condition.
Reiki does not replace:
- Medical care;
- Medical diagnosis;
- Prescription medication;
- Psychological or psychiatric care;
- Emergency healthcare;
- Other professional healthcare services.
You remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional healthcare when required.
3. No Guaranteed Outcome
Infinite Earth Keeper Healing does not guarantee a particular:
- Physical outcome;
- Emotional outcome;
- Psychological outcome;
- Spiritual experience;
- Medical outcome;
- Healing result.
Any descriptions of possible Reiki experiences are provided for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as guarantees.
4. Client Responsibility
Before participating in a Reiki session, you are responsible for informing us of any information that you reasonably believe may affect your participation or comfort during the session.
You are responsible for making your own decisions regarding whether Reiki is appropriate for you.
If you have concerns about your physical or mental wellbeing, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating.
5. Medical and Mental Health Conditions
Reiki is not a substitute for professional medical or mental healthcare.
If you have a diagnosed medical condition, significant physical symptoms, a psychiatric condition, or another health concern, you should continue receiving appropriate care from your healthcare provider.
You should not discontinue, reduce or alter prescribed medication or treatment because of a Reiki session.
Infinite Earth Keeper Healing does not advise clients to discontinue medical treatment.
6. Medical Emergencies
Reiki services are not emergency medical services.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe symptoms, suicidal thoughts, an immediate danger to yourself or another person, or another urgent situation, you should contact an appropriate emergency service or qualified professional immediately.
A Reiki session should never be relied upon as emergency care.
7. Types of Reiki Services
Infinite Earth Keeper Healing may offer one or more forms of Reiki, including:
- In-person Reiki;
- Distance or distant Reiki;
- Reiki-infused products;
- Reiki-related educational or spiritual services.
The specific services available, duration, price and method of delivery will be communicated on the relevant service or booking page.
We may add, remove or modify services from time to time.
8. Distance Reiki
Distance Reiki may be provided without the client and practitioner being physically present in the same location.
Depending on the service purchased, a distance Reiki session may involve:
- A scheduled remote session;
- An agreed time period;
- A session conducted without a live video or telephone connection;
- A remote Reiki session accompanied by communication before or after the session.
The precise format will be described when the service is booked.
Distance Reiki does not require the practitioner to have physical contact with the client.
9. Client Location
For distance Reiki, the client is responsible for being in a safe and appropriate environment during the agreed session period.
You should not participate in a Reiki session while:
- Driving;
- Operating machinery;
- Performing hazardous work;
- Engaging in an activity requiring full concentration;
- In another situation where relaxation or reduced attention could create a safety risk.
10. Booking
A Reiki appointment or session is considered booked once the booking has been accepted and any required payment has been successfully received.
Booking availability is subject to the practitioner’s schedule.
The service description will specify the applicable session duration and price.
11. Payment
Payment must be made using the payment method made available at the time of booking.
Where applicable, payment may be processed through PayFast or another payment provider made available by Infinite Earth Keeper Healing.
Third-party payment providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
A booking may not be confirmed until payment has been successfully received where advance payment is required.
12. Cancellation by the Client
If you need to cancel a Reiki appointment, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where a cancellation policy or cancellation period is specified on the relevant booking page, that policy will apply.
Where no specific cancellation period is stated, we ask that clients provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Any refund or credit will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms, these Reiki Terms and applicable South African law.
13. Rescheduling
Where reasonably possible, clients may request to reschedule an appointment.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a rescheduling request, but cannot guarantee that the originally requested date or time will remain available.
Repeated rescheduling may be subject to reasonable restrictions communicated at the time.
14. Missed Appointments and No-Shows
If a client does not attend a scheduled in-person or live remote session and does not provide reasonable notice, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment.
Where a specific no-show policy was displayed when the service was booked, that policy will apply.
Where no specific policy was displayed, we will consider the circumstances reasonably and fairly.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights.
15. Late Arrival
If a client arrives late for a scheduled session, the session may need to end at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent appointments can proceed.
Where appropriate, we may be able to extend the session, subject to availability.
Late arrival does not automatically entitle the client to a refund or additional session time.
16. Cancellation by Infinite Earth Keeper Healing
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a Reiki session where reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include:
- Illness;
- Emergency;
- Technical problems;
- Unforeseen circumstances;
- Practitioner availability;
- Safety concerns;
- Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where we cancel a prepaid session and cannot reasonably provide an alternative appointment, we will provide an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement, subject to applicable law.
17. Client Safety and Boundaries
All Reiki sessions are intended to be conducted in a respectful, professional and safe environment.
The practitioner and client are expected to maintain appropriate personal boundaries.
Infinite Earth Keeper Healing does not provide sexual services or sexual contact of any kind.
Clients may end a session at any time.
The practitioner may also end a session where reasonably necessary because of inappropriate conduct, harassment, threats, unsafe behaviour or violation of professional boundaries.
18. Physical Contact
Where an in-person Reiki session involves physical contact, the nature of the contact will be explained or agreed upon appropriately.
Clients may request that no physical contact take place.
Reiki can be provided without physical contact.
No client is required to consent to physical contact in order to receive Reiki.
19. Client Consent
By voluntarily participating in a Reiki session, you acknowledge that Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and that individual experiences vary.
You may ask questions about the session before it begins.
You may withdraw from a session at any time.
20. Confidentiality
We respect the privacy of our clients.
Information shared with us during a Reiki session will be treated with appropriate confidentiality, subject to:
- Our Privacy Policy;
- Applicable law;
- Situations where disclosure is legally required;
- Situations involving an immediate and serious safety concern where disclosure may be necessary.
We will not intentionally disclose private client information for unrelated purposes without appropriate permission or a lawful basis.
21. Personal Information
Personal information collected in connection with Reiki bookings and services may include information such as:
- Name;
- Contact details;
- Booking information;
- Payment information;
- Information voluntarily provided by the client;
- Communications relating to the service.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection law.
Clients should avoid providing unnecessary sensitive personal information through ordinary website forms or email.
22. Client Records
Where reasonably necessary for the administration of Reiki services, we may retain records relating to:
- Bookings;
- Payments;
- Appointment dates;
- Client communications;
- Service administration.
Records will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
23. Spiritual Experiences and Beliefs
Reiki may be understood differently by different people.
Some clients may approach Reiki from a spiritual, energetic, religious, cultural or purely relaxation-focused perspective.
Infinite Earth Keeper Healing respects individual beliefs.
However, spiritual interpretations or experiences during a Reiki session should not be interpreted as medical diagnoses or guaranteed supernatural outcomes.
24. Practitioner Guidance
Any observations, impressions or suggestions provided during a Reiki session are offered within the context of a complementary wellness practice.
They should not be interpreted as:
- Medical diagnoses;
- Medical treatment recommendations;
- Psychological diagnoses;
- Instructions to discontinue professional treatment;
- Professional medical advice.
Where a matter appears to require professional healthcare, clients may be encouraged to seek appropriate qualified assistance.
25. Client Responsibility for Decisions
You remain responsible for decisions concerning your health, wellbeing, treatment and personal circumstances.
You should not make significant medical, psychological, financial or other decisions solely on the basis of information received during a Reiki session.
26. Reiki for Minors
Reiki services for persons under the age of 18 will only be provided where appropriate consent has been obtained from a parent or legal guardian and where the service is otherwise suitable.
We reserve the right to decline a booking where appropriate consent cannot be established.
27. Reiki for Animals
Where Infinite Earth Keeper Healing offers Reiki or complementary energy services for animals, the service will be provided as a complementary wellness practice.
Animal Reiki does not replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment or emergency veterinary care.
Owners remain responsible for obtaining appropriate veterinary care for their animals.
28. Gifts and Reiki Sessions Purchased for Another Person
Where a Reiki session is purchased as a gift for another person, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the recipient is aware of the nature of the service.
The recipient must voluntarily agree to participate in the Reiki session.
A person may not be compelled to participate in Reiki.
29. Refunds for Reiki Services
Refunds and cancellations for Reiki services will be handled according to:
- The specific booking terms displayed when the service was purchased;
- These Reiki Healing Service Terms;
- Our Refund & Returns Policy where applicable; and
- Applicable South African law.
Because Reiki is a service rather than a physical product, the treatment of cancellations and refunds may differ from product returns.
Where applicable law provides a consumer cancellation or refund right, that right will not be excluded by these Terms.
30. Digital or Pre-Recorded Reiki Content
Where Reiki-related digital content, recordings, guided practices or other digital materials are offered, the specific terms applying to those materials will be displayed where appropriate.
Digital content may be subject to separate terms concerning access, downloading, copying and refunds.
31. Intellectual Property
Any original Reiki materials created by Infinite Earth Keeper Healing remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
This may include:
- Written Reiki materials;
- Digital artwork;
- Guided meditation recordings;
- Reiki cards;
- Educational materials;
- Course materials;
- Original symbols or artwork created by us;
- Audio or visual materials.
Purchased access to digital or educational material does not automatically transfer intellectual-property ownership to the customer.
You may not reproduce, resell, distribute or commercially exploit such materials without permission, except where permitted by law.
32. Respectful Communication
We welcome questions and feedback.
Clients are expected to communicate respectfully with the practitioner.
We do not tolerate:
- Harassment;
- Threats;
- Abusive behaviour;
- Discrimination;
- Sexual harassment;
- Intimidation;
- Deliberate disruption of services.
Where necessary, we may terminate a client relationship or decline future bookings, subject to applicable law.
33. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Infinite Earth Keeper Healing will not be responsible for outcomes arising from a client’s decision to rely on Reiki instead of obtaining appropriate professional medical, psychological or other care.
Nothing in these Reiki Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts any mandatory consumer rights or protections applicable under South African law.
34. No Waiver of Legal Rights
Nothing in these Reiki Terms is intended to:
- Remove statutory consumer rights;
- Prevent a client from exercising a lawful remedy;
- Exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded;
- Restrict rights that cannot legally be restricted.
If any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable law, the mandatory legal provision will apply to the extent of the conflict.
35. Force Majeure
We will not be responsible for delays, cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These may include:
- Severe weather;
- Natural disasters;
- Fire;
- Flood;
- Power failures;
- Internet or telecommunications failures;
- Government restrictions;
- Civil unrest;
- Illness;
- Emergencies;
- Other unforeseen circumstances.
Where reasonably possible, we will communicate with affected clients and offer an appropriate alternative arrangement.
36. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Reiki Healing Service Terms from time to time.
Changes may be made to reflect:
- Changes to our services;
- Changes to booking procedures;
- Changes to payment arrangements;
- Changes to our business practices;
- Changes in applicable law.
The latest version will be published on this page and the Last updated date will be amended.
